Led by founder Mark Wenner on vocals and harmonica, the Nighthawks deliver a dynamic mix of Blues, R&B, Honky-Tonk Country, Doo-Wop, Gospel, and Rockabilly. Since its inception in 1972, The Nighthawks has embodied the musical vision of founder Mark Wenner, defying genre boundaries to create a distinctive blend of blues, R&B, country, gospel, and rockabilly. Rooted in the vibrant musical tradition of Washington, D.C., the band has evolved over the years, opening doors for fellow musicians and earning accolades such as the Blues Music Award for their acoustic album Last Train to Bluesville.
